We are all for the Sweden trip to celebrate the birthday girl’s birthday. However, we need to move the trip up at least six months. Since the global apocalypse is due on 21 December 2012, my vote is to go in the fall of 2011 and (as Phil suggested) charge everything!

I knew I should have trained Moka to be a bomb, drug, contraband sniffing dog.???? He was laying down between the kitchen and living room this morning when he got up and started pawing at the shelf unit.???? That’s usually the sign that there’s some hidden food stuff somewhere near.???? As I moved the shoes and the shelves so he could get a better look, and assured him that there was nothing there, this is what I found.?? Maybe he was a bloodhound in another life.

Ahhh, the aroma of wet dog.?? Nothing like it.?? Anyway, saw my favorite pulmonologist today to follow up on last month’s PET/CT scan and have a favorable report.?? Nothing to worry about there!?? He’s a little surprised that the inflammation still hasn’t fully cleared, and he figures I’ll have some scarring at the end of all this, but no masses, tumors, nodules etc. etc.?? He wants a follow up CT scan in six months, but overall he’s pleased with me.???? Well, who wouldn’t be?

Just when I think I’m making progress, another load comes in the door.
Pauline and I have been sorting the donations we got for the BHCHP for
the past ten days. Lots of mill yarn and thread, lots of fabric to be
used for quilts. My self appointed task is to sort the fabric and put
together some quilt kits for the folks. I keep getting tired out
though (overwhelmed?) so I’m taking a break to have my Doritos and sour
cream brunch.

Did laundry at my ARL volunteering yesterday, so was up and down two
flights of stairs over and over and over again. Oh, my, aches and
pains. But there’s lots of clean cat beds and towels now. Moka still
doesn’t understand how I can come home smelling of other animals!!

getting “bleacher butt”–with a little football mixed in, of course, on Sunday. Snowy here. We got about 10-14 inches of the heavy white stuff
