Soren and his family came over this evening for dinner.

We bought a living redwood today to be our Christmas tree. (Arlin’s
sisters wanted to give us a plant in memory of Mom, and we wanted to
have a live tree instead of a cut tree for Christmas, so they’re buying
us the tree and it will be a permanent part of the living room, we hope.)

I was reading the brochure put out by our local adult education department and discovered a class that Betsy won’t want to miss: Crime Scene Investigation. It has four meetings starting on January 11, so you’d better get out here right after New Year’s, Betsy!
