Kai and I went for a walk in a Richmond shoreline park we haven’t been
to before. While we were walking we saw a woman with something that
looked like a squirrel from a distance. It turned out to be a ferret.
I was afraid that Kai would scare it, but she said the ferret’s best
friend was a German shepherd, so we got close. Kai wasn’t very
interested in the ferret (probably because it was being held), but he
was very interested in the bag the ferret traveled in.
Not a very good picture, but this is Merle, the giant schnauzer/Great Dane mix we see at the park all the time. He’s about the size of a pony.
O.k., so I’ll get this eventually. Don’t know why the photo won’t go along with the title. I couldn’t spell amaryllis anyway, so I’ll try again.
Moka has decided that Uncle Ed is his new best friend. Last night when Ed exited the living room after his little nap, I mean tv watching, Moka ran up to him squeaking and throwing his butt at Ed’s knee. Poor Uncle didn’t know quite what to do, but he did manage to scratch the boy dog’s head for a minute. So nice to see two friends together, regardless of how reluctant one of them may be.
