Colors!

These pictures are all of the same grouping near the pool, but from a few different perspectives.

I especially like the textures and colors from this angle.

The pink and yellow-orange variations are amazing.

Privacy for the Privy

Finally, some progress after being laid up for a month. The door/gate for the composting toilet enclosure is ready to be hung. It will swing on hinges on the right side, raised up about 2 inches off the deck floor.

In his element

Phil has been having a great time gaining control of the overgrown vegetation in the vegetable garden. He’s not the only one contributing huge efforts to the recent improvements: thanks to Janet and Kathy and Caryn and Brendan and Pat who have worked hard along with Betsy and Phil. I, meanwhile, have not been a productive member of the ranch, for which I am truly sorry.
