It’s in here somewhere

Yesterday Fritz left the remains of a disemboweled mole on our bed as a New Year’s Eve gift. We think Buddy helps him by standing watch while he digs.

Rain!

Arlin, Chester, and Fritz went exploring.

There’s been enough rain to have water flowing through the swale down to the ravine.

Advent Light: Sunset 12/18; Filtered Sunrise and Rainbow 12/19

A late afternoon walk around Dragonfly Ranch provided a nice view of the winter sun setting in the south west sky.

I like when the light dances in the camera lens, like maybe Glinda the Good is about to appear.

Sleeping late afforded me a view of the sunrise I would otherwise miss. For this, I’m not sorry we spared expense on window treatments.

Betsy alerted us to this gorgeous view of a winter rainbow. I think it was probably even brighter when she first saw it. Even with a mad dash to put on shoes and go out in the gentle rain, it was almost too late!

If you look closely, you’ll see the full arc.
