Our quilt guild meeting this month honored two veterans with appreciation quilts. This is the one I made with three other guild members.

Our neighbor’s Angela and Sachi asked me to help make a Quilt for her sachi’s grandson. As you can see, she and Buddy are the hardest workers in the group.

It attracts delicious ants, and I ain’t moving.

Arlin has been here a while, but the bench just arrived. It is sited on the Mount of Olives and gives a wonderful view and catches the breeze. Thanks to Arlin.

I rescued Betsy from this garter snake — or maybe I rescued the garter snake from Betsy. Anyway, it was under the sink in the craft house. I got it into a net and let it go out the gate before the dogs got too interested.

It looks like the Valley subspecies of the common garter snake. If you look closely you can see the red blotches along both sides, just above the lateral stripes, that distinguish this snake.
