This afternoon, we said goodbye to our lab/hound Buddy. He had three good years with us, digging with Fritz and protecting us from phantom threats. He came to live with us at age 11, having spent at least a few years as a trailer park dog. He seemed happy to have a safe and loving haven. He brought us great joy and we will miss him.
