The Detwiler Fire is currently at 82,000 acres and 85% contained. There is one remaining evacuation advisory in the northern part of Mariposa County, and two shelters remain open (Sonora and Mariposa). Still waiting to hear the best way to help those 70 or so families who lost their houses.
We’ve been so focussed on this fire that we have not paid attention to those in Montana. Hope you can still breathe ok Caryn and Brendan.

So glad things are stabilizing for you down there. Up here we are safe, just having to moderate our activities due to air quality. And it is that weird overcast glow most of the time. I’m hoping if a lot burns this summer, there might be a reprieve for a summer or two.
