“Phil’s Patio Tarantula” is a photograph transferred to fabric and then colored with inks, pencil and crayons. Every morning during tarantula season a couple of years ago, Callix would find this guy (or a cousin) on the patio outside the kitchen door and try to nose it around. And every morning, Phil would transfer it to another part of the property.

“Family Ties” was made from a collection accumulated over the years from some of the guys in our family. I had fun with it.
