Last year I was fairly timid about pruning the grapes. They flowered but they didn’t bear. This year I made two passes through the vines, one about a month ago and one today, and I think I was pretty ruthless on the second pass. Supposedly the most common error of home grape growers is that they don’t prune enough. We’ll see.
