Earthquake

We just had a 4.0 about three miles away. It was 5:33 in the morning, and we’d just woken up. It lasted only a couple of seconds, but it was very loud and the whole house shook. No damage. We’re fine.

Glad to know you’re all ok–geesh that’s scary. Kath and I are still shaking from the one you hosted us for back in ’94. Sending love, j&k&j

Enough about you, how are the puppies?

The puppies are fine. Kai was cuddling on the bed with me already. Chester, who was standing near the bed, came over and lay down on the pillows for reassurance. Neither of them jumped or howled or showed signs of real distress.I’ve noticed that our kitchen clock is slightly askew after the quake.

So, it’s up to me to ask how are all the kitties???

I don’t think there were any cats in the bedroom when the quake hit, so we didn’t get a chance to observe — and the cats aren’t talking.
