The rabbit’s name is Mochi. It belongs to a neighbor (she’s in the photo, but I’m afraid I’ve forgotten her name). Kai has actually met Mochi once before, but Mochi was in the playground, Kai was outside the playground, and they were separated by a fence. This afternoon, Mochi was out on the open grass. We kept Kai on the leash just to be safe, but he was very good. He seemed to think that Mochi was some strange kind of puppy. He wagged his tail and got down on all fours to invite Mochi to play, but Mochi wasn’t interested.
