On Saturday, March 25, my former colleague Harriet came over to visit, along with her bulldog Blanche. Blanche immediately took a fancy to Kai’s chew toys. Blanche and Kai got along fine. Blanche was much more interested in Kai’s toys than she was in Kai, and Kai was happy because there was another human to pay him court.
